Matrix sponsor up-and-coming Warrington Wolves Player

Young, up-and-coming hooker Brad Dwyer made his first team debut back in March and now has his own player sponsor in Matrix Networks.

Brad has impressed since joining the wolves as an academy player and is now a real contender for a permanent first-team spot.

Brad recently visited Matrix head office in Daresbury, Warrington, to discuss not only the sponsorship benefits to both parties but to also meet the sponsors in person. When asked about getting his first sponsor he said: “It is really good to finally have a sponsor and to have people notice me as a player. They are really nice guys and hopefully i can help them and they can help me.”

Chris Mann, managing director of Matrix, appeared delighted with the sponsorship deal and had high praise for Dwyer. “Brad, is a credit to the club. The communication with Warrington Wolves is a breath of fresh air. They have got their ethos spot on, especially when it comes to the community.”

Matt sanderson, finance director at Matrix, was also very complimentary of the club with regards to the guidance towards the various options available to the company.

Matrix, until the beginning of the current playing season, had never been involved in sponsorship in sport and they have certainly enjoyed the benefits of being involved with the Wolves. This season has seen them take on the sponsorship of Brad as well as investing in LED and static advertising at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.

Matt, who is also a Warrington Wolves supporter, is excited about the continued growth in the relationship between Matrix and the Wolves. He said: “Everyone in the business is excited. This is a long-term deal. I think that we are doing well already and are beginaing to think about what else we can do with the Wolves next season.”

He continued by comparing Brad to Matrix, linking their growth as a company ,with his development as a player. “People are becoming aware of us as a business, we are growing and have significant potential for further growth. Tying in with someone like Brad. from the rugby perspective is almost perfect. He has a lot of potential and within the next few years will be bigger, hopefully just like us.
